A review of BookMartialArts.com, a martial arts themed travel website
We were recently contacted by BookMartialArts.com to see if we would be interested in swapping articles to help each other get word out. After checking out their website, within five minutes it was clear to us that what they were doing would be of interest with you guys. No money has changed hands between us, this is just our review of their company in return for their review of Awakening Fighters (which was done in the form of an interview, link below).

What exactly is BookMartialArts.com? Well the clue is in the name really. This global martial arts themed website aims to take the hassle out of trawling the internet to find that perfect holiday that allows you to improve your martial arts skills. Let’s say you wanted to go on a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu or Muay Thai holiday (well it could be almost any discipline really), when searching you’d have to take into consideration; price, location, language, accommodation amongst a few things. It has it all in the one place. You can read reviews, compare prices and browse over 150 martial arts training organizers from around the world.

We had a quick chat with Klara Kristi, the Community Manager at BookMartialArts.com, to find out more about what makes them tick. Read on to find out what she has to say.

The idea all started when founder and owner, Robert Den Hollander, was looking to sharpen his Kung Fu skills in a monestary where he’d be able to train with monks in the mountains of China. His first move was to do a search on the web but soon realized that there’s such a lack of information that is available on travel focusing on martial arts. After hours on end spent looking for suitable Kung Fu schools to possibly enroll in, he couldn’t find what he was looking for: an overview of Kung Fu training options located abroad. It was then that a “lightbulb” moment occurred and he decided to use this “obstacle” as fuel to transform an idea into reality. From there, he decided to start a on-line themed travel company named eBookingServices, to make it happen. Within less than a year, the team was able to launch a total of five websites: BookYogaRetreats.com, BookCulinaryVacations.com, BookSinglesHolidays.com, BookSurfCamps.com and of course, BookMartialArts.com.

We were particularly intrigued by the Kung Fu holidays they have, especially the Meditation and Shaolin ones!

At our site, anyone can access a comprehensive information and details of the martial arts training camp we have on offer which include a program/itinerary, trainer information, things to do, availability, price options, accommodation, and booking conditions. All of which are conveniently “wrapped” on one page.

In order to compare the services of the travel organizers we work with, we include customer reviews that potential customers can peruse through that will allow you to peruse through unbiased insights from those who have personally experienced the training camps. It will hopefully help to make an informed decision when booking your martial arts vacation!

So we highly recommend you giving their website a visit, have a browse, and get inspired to go somewhere different with your time off work. We know so many people (as you our reader probably does as well) that have been on a martial arts holiday, maybe you have. Their website will definitely take the hassle out of looking for that specialized break.
