Awakening's comments: A Strawweight bout in which Danielle Taylor will be looking to keep her professional record of 4-0-0 unblemished.  Her amateur record was equally impressive at 4-1-0.  Avila is the more experienced fighter of the two and will be looking to continue her two fight win streak.  Her professional record is 4-2-0, whilst the amateur record she has behind her is an impressive 6-0-0.  Also worth of note is that 7 of the 10 wins Avila has have been via stoppages.

Susan Reno vs Paola Ortiz
5 Star Banquet Hall, Queens, New York, USA

Awakening's comments: A Flyweight bout in which both ladies will be looking to end their signification losing streaks. Both fighters have five fights under their belt, with Reno's record at 1-3-1 having not won a fight since her debut in 2013, and Ortiz's record at 0-5-0. Evenly matched, this fight is bound to be full of heart.

Julia Budd vs Gabby Holloway
Bellator 133: Shlemenko vs. Manhoef, SaveMart Center, Fresno, California, United States

Awakening's comments: A Featherweight bout which promises to deliver. Holloway replaces injured Talita Nogueira at relatively short notice, and she has her work cut out with the talented Budd. Holloway actually has more MMA cage time than Budd, her pro record is 4-1-0 and her amateur career was an unblemished 7-0-0. Budd on the other hand, who's pro record is 6-2-0, has faced some of the world's toughest opponents including: Ronda Rousey, Charmaine Tweet, Germaine de Randamie, Amanda Nunes etc.  She has a Muay Thai record of 10-1-0 in which she has also faced some of the world toughest opponents.

Kenia Rosa vs Bi Nguyen
Fury FC 4, Humble, Texas, United States

Awakening's comments: The Cage Combat Amateur Flyweight title is up for grabs between Rosa, who's record is an unblemished 2-0-0, and Nguyen who's amateur record is 2-1-0.

Saturday

Boxing Flag
Zulina Munoz† vs Mariana Juarez
Otomi Ceremony Center, Toluca, México, Mexico

Awakening's comments: A Super Flyweight bout in which Zulina Munoz defends her WBC World female super flyweight title for the 7th time. Yes, the 7th time! The combined professional fight experience is difficult to express in words, so strap yourself in! Between them they have an impressive 97 fights.  Munoz, who has only ever lost once (to Alesia Graf in 2007) has the ridiculous record of 44-1-2.  She will be looking to defend her title and continue her 21 fight win streak. Juarez's record is equally as impressive at 40-7-3, she however is on a 4 fight win streak, but before her last loss she herself has a 21 fight win streak.  Also worthy of note, both fighters have fought great opponents and Munoz is still only 27!

This fight is our weeks' top pick!Awards
