Natasha tells Awakening, “I had a few reasons for starting training. I always liked fighting and grew up thinking I was a ninja turtle! I aslo was in an abusive relationship and I never wanted to be in that situation again so learning to fight and have the confidence to protect myself was a good reason. I also suffer anxiety so the challenge of fighting makes me stronger and does not let the anxiety control my life.”
