Randa Markos-Thomas began wrestling in high school.
After turning professional in 2010, Randa struggled to find fights for 2 years, eventually accepting a fight 15 lbs above her normal weight class.
Randa’s family fled from Iraq when she was only three years old. Her father, a former soldier, became an alcoholic and was abusive towards her and the rest of her family.
