Melissa Shepard MMA Fighter

Melissa, aka 'Cruel Intentions' is an amateur American MMA fighter from Missouri. At the time of writing her amateur record is 5-4-0, and she has won four of those bouts via TKO! She made her debut back in 2012, and in 2013 she became the Cage of Honor Bantamweight Champion and this was followed in 2014 with the Midwest Fight League Bantamweight Championship title.
We asked her how she started in martial arts and she replied...
"I started training 3 years ago. I was 29 yrs old. Started to get in a lot better shape and fell in love with it."
Melissa is the mother to no less than four children, and she holds a Blue Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. The two facts aren't related!
