Ruqsana Begum’s Bio

Ruqsana Begum is a female Muay Thai fighter and Boxer from Ilford, Essex, England.

She is a coach at the charity ‘Fight for Peace’ which uses sport to prevent youth in crime and gangs. She is also the founder of the Muay Thai training academy ‘Fight Your Corner.’

Ruqsana has served as the captain of the British Muay Thai team.

In the lead-up to the 2012 London Olympics, she was selected to be an Olympic torchbearer in recognition of her sporting achievements and community work. She carried the torch on July 21st in Greenwich, London.

Personal Life

Ruqsana graduated from the University of Westminster with a degree in Architecture.
