Sumiko tells Awakening, “I began my martial arts journey at the age of four with Taekwondo. The discipline, focus, and strength required for martial arts immediately resonated with me, igniting a passion that has guided my path ever since. It was more than just a sport; it became a way of life, teaching me invaluable lessons about perseverance, honor, and self-discipline. These principles have shaped not only how I approach martial arts but also how I navigate challenges in life.”
