March 8, 2024 in Busto Arsizio, Italy – Caldwell, Idaho's featherweight contender Alyssa Mendoza continued her remarkable streak at the 2024 Olympic Games World Qualifying Tournament in Busto Arsizio, Italy today, securing her third victory in the tournament, with the second win marked by Referee Stopped Contest (RSC).

Mendoza, pitted against Morocco's Nisrine Amine, showcased a commanding performance from the get-go in the opening round. She initiated the first of three standing eight counts for her opponent midway through the round, followed by the second count given by the referee with 45 seconds remaining.

With a potential stoppage in sight and her corner urging for one final push, Mendoza sustained her pressure, relentlessly advancing on her opponent. As the bell rang, signaling the end of the round, the final eight count commenced, leading to the referee calling an end to the bout.
