Welcome to Fight Week, at the start of each week we will highlight some of the female fights happening around the world in Boxing, MMA and Muay Thai. These fights are picked out by the Awakening team based on their potential explosiveness and/or point of interest.

Awakening's comments: A 47kg rematch bout in which Sylvie von Duuglas-Ittu enters her 103rd fight. Like last week, we wanted to pull this fight out because many people follow the progress of von Duuglas-Ittu. The winner of Journalist of the Year 2014 in the Awakening Muay Thai Awards, many will know that she is attempting to be the first Westerner to have 100 fights in Thailand. This fight will be her 94th in Thailand! The last time these ladies met, von Duuglas-Ittu won via decision.

Awakening's comments: The Savage vs The Hammer. Jenna Serio goes into this fight undefeated, with a pro record of 1-0-0 and an amateur record of 2-0-0. Allison Haynes will be looking to put an end to Serio's win streak and start off her own. She's the more experienced MMA fighter at 0-2-0 (pro) and 3-1-0 (amateur).
